Dependents Visa Requirements
Documentation proving family relationship to primary visa holder.
Critical: Primary visa holder must have APPROVED visa before dependents can apply. Cannot apply simultaneously.
Relationship Documentation (Required)
For Spouse/Partner
- • Marriage certificate (apostilled, translated)
- • OR proof of domestic partnership (2+ years cohabitation)
- • Photos together as couple
For Children
- • Birth certificate (apostilled, translated)
- • If 18-21: proof of full-time student status
- • If disabled: medical documentation
For Parents
- • Birth certificate showing you as their child (apostilled, translated)
- • Proof of financial dependency
- • Affidavit of support from primary visa holder
General Documents (All Dependents)
Required for Each Dependent
- • Valid passport (6+ months validity)
- • Background check (apostilled, translated, less than 6 months old)
- • Passport photo
- • Copy of primary visa holder's approved visa
- • Completed application form
